I grew up in San Antonio (Go Spurs!). After high school, I attended Concordia College in Bronxville, New York, where I ran cross-country. My wife, Allison, and I were married in 2017 and have 4 children. I love being around and playing sports. I believe sports can be another way of expressing, practicing, and growing in our Christian faith.
I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Concordia -Bronxville in 2014. I completed a Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2019. I am pursuing a M. S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Sand Tray Therapy. The human mind works in wondrous ways. God created us all so differently and we all glorify God in unique ways. Being able to understand how and what happens with our minds has helped me grow as a pastor. In my spare time, I have taken some online classes in Sports Ministry.
I consider myself a “soul-centered pastor.” I aim to care for souls. For me, this stretches beyond Sunday mornings and specific rites. It includes spending time with and getting to know the people I serve. God has created you and made you special the way you are. God has purchased you by the death of His Son Jesus. Because of that, your soul deserves the dignity and respect as one created precisely by God!
“Where God rules; His humblest creatures can be themselves; where God is there is singing.” - Derek Kidner
